Landscape Photography Metal Posters

Five photographs, all but one from tropical north Queensland: Ellis Beach at sunrise with the wet sand taking the colour, a long-exposure shore under a rose-gold sunset, a staghorn fern the size of an armchair riding its host tree in the Cairns Botanic Gardens, and a painted mountain peak. Photography is a different proposition from illustration on metal — the surface gives it a slight sheen that suits water and low sun particularly well, and there is no glass to fight with in a bright room. These are quiet, real places rather than composed scenery, which is the appeal. Suits a bedroom or a hallway where something calm is wanted. Most of it is queensland photography, and as scenic wall art a landscape photography print of somewhere you can actually drive to holds attention longer.
