Dia De Los Muertos Metal Posters

Day of the Dead work: catrinas crowned in marigolds and roses, sugar-skull faces painted in fine detail, skeleton parades in sharp suits and orange fedoras, and skull mosaics where no two faces repeat. The colour is the point — magenta, gold, turquoise and bone against deep shadow — and it is a palette that suits steel far better than paper, because the saturation survives. This is celebratory rather than macabre work, which is the whole intent of the festival. It carries a room on its own and is a genuinely good choice for a dining room or a hallway, where a single large piece can set the tone for everything around it. Most of it is sugar skull wall art in the broad sense — good as day of the dead decor through late October, and good as a mexican folk art print for the other eleven months.
