Independence Day Metal Posters

Six patriotic pieces built around the flag: a bald eagle's stare under rippling stars and stripes, the eagle in profile with the colours furled behind it like a cloak, and three dogs — a golden retriever, a chocolate lab and a pit bull — sitting to attention in front of weathered boards. It is straightforward, warm and unironic, which is what this subject wants. Seasonal in the same way Easter and Halloween are, and equally suited to a magnet mount that lets it come down on the fifth. A porch, a den or a workshop. The dog pieces in particular tend to get bought as gifts rather than for the buyer's own wall. Patriotic wall art with a light touch — an americana print that serves as fourth of july decor and then goes back in the cupboard without any fuss.
