Birds Metal Posters

Ten close studies, most of them of birds that look designed rather than evolved. Keel-billed toucans several times over — that beak is the entire argument — a grey parrot regarding you from a branch, a scarlet macaw over a palm bay, a hummingbird at purple salvia, an eagle in stencil and torn paper. The treatments range from saturated jungle illustration to loose watercolour. Bird prints are a long-standing default in hallways and stairwells for a good reason: they carry colour at a distance and reward a closer look on the way past. On steel the plumage keeps its intensity instead of going chalky. Bird wall art splits neatly here — a tropical bird print for colour, audubon style decor for anyone who prefers the plate to the parrot.
